NEUROMODULATORS

Botox & Dysport

Neuromodulators are a simple, nonsurgical treatment that temporarily relax facial lines such as frown lines, crow’s feet and horizontal lines of the forehead. Within a couple of days, you will notice smoother skin in treated areas, which may last 3-4 months. Treatments are able to be performed on the same day after a brief medical consultation. Injections are relatively painless and non minimum requirement of units is needed.

Jeunenu Aesthetic offers a wide range of neuromodulator injections for the aesthetic needs of our patients. When Botox or Dysport are injected into the skin, it blocks the signals to the muscles that are responsible for the repetitive facial movements that cause fine lines and wrinkles (i.e. crow’s feet from squinting. This results in a smoothing effect to the skin for a younger, more refreshed appearance.

The most common cosmetic uses for neuromodulators involve temporary improvement in the glabellar region (lines in between the eyebrows), forehead, and excessive “crow’s feet (lines/wrinkles between the eye and temple area). There are many other areas where neuromodulators can be placed for aesthetic and medical reasons. Unfortunately, insurance does not cover these injections and results vary from patient to patient.

Safety Concerns

As with any medical treatment, there are risks associated with neuromodulators. For more information refer to the Medication Guide or talk with JeuneNu. During your aesthetic consultation, side effects and risks of treatment are reviewed thoroughly. You are encouraged to report negative side effects of prescription drugs to the FDA. Common Treatment Areas

The Glabella | Frown Lines | The 11’s

We can easily treat the worst of frown lines with neuromodulator injections. In just one treatment, patients can visibly see a drastic difference in the softening of their wrinkles. The “11’s,”or frown lines, are a result of furrowing your brows (glabellar and corrugator muscles). The 11’s are on of the most commonly treated areas. Results with vary between patients and can require multiple treatments along with other modalities including skincare and laser therapies. An aesthetic consultation is the best way to assess what modalities and procedures would be best to meet the patient’s aesthetic goals.

Contraction of the muscles around the eyes, or frequent squinting and smiling can cause delicate skin to fold and crease, leaving us with lines and wrinkles.

The easiest way to get rid of these wrinkles is with neuromodulator treatment. Within 3-7 days, depending on which product is used and the patient’s effects, wrinkles will drastically fade. Results will typically last 3-4 months.

Forehead wrinkles are most commonly caused by making frequent expressions, such as raising eyebrows as with a surprised expression or being an animated conversationalist. The best way to determine if you need treatment is to stand in front of a mirror and raise your eyebrows. Once you resume a relaxed expression the lines should fade without a trace. If your lines do not, then its time to schedule a consultation with JeuneNu for neuromodulator treatment of these expressive, static lines.

FILLERS

Juvederm | Restylane | RHA

Hyaluronic acid gels (fillers) are considered to be one of the most sought out aesthetic procedures, next to neuromodulators. Fillers are injected into areas of volume loss including but not limited to lips, nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

The Ideal Candidate for Dermal Fillers

  • To reduce or eliminate the appearance of mild, moderate or severe facial lines and wrinkle
  • Enhance natural facial expressions that may be loss due to age, weight loss, or stress
  • Restore volume loss to the cheeks, lips or mid face.
  • Have a minimally invasive approach to age management.

JeuneNu Aesthetic is proud to offer the most popular dermal fillers on the market. The Juvederm, Restylane and RHA Collections all reside within our practice. Dermal filler restores volume loss and reduces fine lines, allowing the face to look more youthful, refreshed and maintain natural facial expressions. Dermal fillers act as a replacement of these losses and offer specific revitalization to the needed areas of the faces.

Dermal Fillers are frequently used to smooth lines around the mouth, plump the lips, and erase years from the face. Hyaluronic acid is a safe and effective gel treatment that restores lost volume to the skin, smoothing away moderate to severe facial lines and wrinkles. All our dermal fillers are FDA-Approved and have been proven safe and effective for all patient populations.

The active ingredient, hyaluronic acid, is a naturally occurring complex sugar that is found in the human body. Hyaluronic acid hydrates the skin while adding volume. As we age, our own cells lose their ability to naturally produce hyaluronic acid, often resulting in facial wrinkles and lost skin volume.

What to Expect with Dermal Fillers

Patient is will also be informed of risk of side effects and adverse events during consultation and appointment time.
